Changing the World
As people of faith, we have a call upon our lives to bring the transforming love of Christ into this world. The life of faith is a journey that we go on together. Our role as a church is to help one another through this journey. As we travel the path together, God's love is made known.
We have three main areas of focus: Love God, Love People, Serve Others. These are not only ministry areas, but steps along the journey.
We ask that everyone be involved in something from each of these areas. We seek to grow together as the children of God.
First Steps.
First Steps are about discovering God in your life. No matter where you go, or where you've been, God's love is there for you. It's amazing what can happen when you begin to make that discovery in your life. These activities can help you connect, or re-connect with the God who created you.
Next Steps.
Once you have discovered the presence of God in your life, the next step is to learn more. The activities in this area help you surround yourself with others who seek to find more of God in their lives. This learning can come from discussion, study, and small group gatherings. Find the avenue that will help you learn more about God in your life.
Stepping Out.
The more you learn about God in your life, the more you feel the need to reach out to those who are around you. We do not often realize the opportunities we have everyday to make a difference in someone's life. These activities are focused on our community, our nation, and our world.
